Depending on the nature of the issue we can use one of the two methods to remove the tree roots from the sewer line if the damages are repairable.

Use of an auger or an electric snaking system. The auger inserted into the sewer line will rotate cutting the tree roots and pushing them out in pieces and repairing the cracks or other damages after cleaning.
Using hi-pressure water, otherwise known as hydro jetting. High pressure water between 3500 to 4000 psi is pushed through the sewer lines forcing the tree roots to break apart and flow out with the water.

Depending on your unique situation, one of the above options may be recommended by the sewer technician. Once the debris are removed completely from the sewer lines, the technician will then repair the damages caused by the tree roots.
